It all started during the Christmas break of 2025. Like many great ideas, it was born out of a simple family moment. My sons have a huge passion for Hot Wheels—and honestly, I’ve caught the fever too. But my boys didn't just want to look at the cars; they wanted to know everything about them.

Alles begann während der Weihnachtsferien 2025. Wie viele gute Ideen entstand sie aus einem einfachen Familienmoment. Meine Söhne haben eine riesige Leidenschaft für Hot Wheels – und ehrlich gesagt hat mich das Fieber auch gepackt. Aber meine Jungs wollten die Autos nicht nur ansehen; sie wollten alles darüber wissen.

I knew a bit about cars, but I couldn't keep up with their endless curiosity. Instead of manually using Google Lens for every single find, I thought: "There must be a way to automate this."

Ich wusste ein bisschen was über Autos, konnte aber mit ihrer endlosen Neugier nicht mithalten. Anstatt jedes einzelne Auto mühsam per Google Lens zu suchen, dachte ich mir: "Das muss sich doch automatisieren lassen."

From Prototype to Passion Project

I decided to build a quick prototype to see if I could make it work. To my surprise, it did. My sons were thrilled and began using the prototype every single day. Seeing their excitement made me realize the massive potential of this idea. I wanted more, they wanted more—and suddenly, a small holiday project turned into a full-scale development journey.

Ich beschloss, einen schnellen Prototyp zu bauen. Zu meiner Überraschung hat es funktioniert. Meine Söhne waren begeistert und nutzten die App jeden Tag. Als ich ihre Begeisterung sah, wurde mir das enorme Potenzial dieser Idee klar. Ich wollte mehr, sie wollten mehr – und plötzlich wurde aus einem kleinen Ferienprojekt eine ausgewachsene Entwicklungsreise.
